Prior to joining Citi Venture Capital International in August 2005， Timothy Chang was the Managing Director of Greater China for Cerberus Global Capital， a US$15 billion New York-based Hedge Fund.
Before Cerberus， Timothy Chang was the Managing Director of Icon Ventures Asia. From 1998 to 2000， Mr. Chang was one of four Executive Directors responsible for the activities of AIG Direct Investment in Asia. Mr. Chang was also a Board Director of Peregrine Capital in Hong Kong and was the Managing Director in charge of the Multinational Group. Mr. Chang began his work in Finance with Credit Suisse First Boston in New York in the Technology Group working on both M&A and underwriting for US companies.
He studied Law at Yale Law School and graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University with a B.A. in Applied Mathematics.
