Rosa Huang Rierson is the Managing Director of Global Ventures and Acquisitions， Asia for Cisco Systems. In this role， she helps define Cisco Corporate strategy in the region. Her team works closely with Cisco’s key executives in the US and in Asia to identify technology investments， acquisitions， and partnership opportunities in the region.
Immediately prior to joining Cisco， she was with Level 3 Communications as Director Corporate Development in Asia. Her primary role was to help articulate the company’s strategy in Asia as well as identifying business development opportunities in the region. Rosa also spent more than five years at Goldman Sachs starting as an Investment Banker in Goldman Sachs’ fast growing Communications， Media and Technology group London， then as a Telecoms analyst at Goldman Sachs（Asia） in Hong Kong， expanding stocks coverage to Australia， Taiwan， Malaysia， and the Philippines. She has extensive Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance experience in the Cable， Cellular， and Media sectors. She also worked on high profile European and Asian Telecom privatization mandates.
Ms.Huang-Rierson holds two degrees in Political Science and English Literature from the National Taiwan Uneversity.She earned an MA in Finance from the Ecole Superior de paris， France’s top Grande Ecole business schools. Besides French， she is fluent in Mandarin and English and proficient in Dutch.
Ms.Huang-Rierson is married， has a daughter and is currently based in Hong Kong.
