Umair A. Shaikh

Umair is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant with over 6 years of experience in the financial services sector. He is presently the Head Investment Banking at AKD Investment Banking and with the help of a young dynamic team leads the Financial Advisory Desk of the IBD. He has been involved in extensive valuation and transaction structuring and has a sound understanding of the governing corporate laws.

Mr. Shaikh has played a key role in a number of transactions including Private Equity， Issue of Rights Shares， Initial Public Offerings， Structuring & Placement of TFC's.

Prior to joining AKD Securities， Umair worked for A.F.Ferguson & Co， Chartered Accountants - a member firm of PriceWaterHouseCoopers. He was actively involved in providing audit and Financial Advisory services， to various financial institutions， primarily in the banking sector， multinationals and manufacturing concerns. Currently Mr. Shaikh is a candidate for Level 3 in the CFA program.
