Duncan Goodwin joined Martin Currie in 2005. He is an investment manager responsible for researching and recommending stocks in the energy sector. In addition to his research and advisory role, he co-manages alongside Ruairidh Stewart our global resources and energy funds, including the long-only Martin Currie GF – Global Resources and Martin Currie Global Energy funds and our Global Resources long short strategies. Duncan came to us from Merrill Lynch, where he was a director of equity research for oil and gas stocks. Earlier, he was an analyst at Lehman Brothers, working in the European energy-research team. Before embarking on his investment career, Duncan cut his teeth in the oil industry – as a business planner with Shell.
