Simon Brown

Simon Brown （New York） joined KKR in 2003. Since then， he has been directly involved with the investments in Avago Technologies， Del Monte Foods， The Boyds Collection， The Nielsen Company （formerly VNU Group）， Sealy Corporation， SunGard Data Systems， and Walter Industries. He heads the Consumer Products and Services team in North America， and is currently a member of the board of directors for Del Monte Foods， The Nielsen Company and Sealy. Prior to joining KKR， Mr. Brown was with Madison Dearborn Partners for four years， focusing on leveraged investments in industrial companies. Prior to completing his M.B.A.， he was with Thomas H. Lee Company and Morgan Stanley Capital Partners， where he was involved in a broad range of private equity transactions. He holds a B.Com， first class honours， from Queen’s University and an M.B.A. with High Distinction， Baker Scholar， John L. Loeb Fellow， from Harvard Business School.
