Braughm Ricke

Braughm Ricke is a founding member of the True Ventures where he is CFO. He has also been interim CFO to several True portfolio companies including about.me and GigaOM. He began his career in venture capital in 1999 as Controller of Sofinnova Ventures， an early-stage life science and information technology venture capital firm. In 2004， Braughm joined 5AM Ventures， a seed and early-stage life science venture firm. In his role as Controller for 5AM， he was solely responsible for the finance and administrative functions of the firm.

Braughm maintains close relationships with True’s Limited Partners and lends financial and operational support to True portfolio companies. He holds a BS in Accounting from Plymouth State University and has completed graduate studies at the University of California Davis. When he is not keeping the financials in order， he is spending time with his wife and three kids， mountain biking， skiing， playing soccer， or talking cars with Toni.
