Raymond Kong

Raymond Kong graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in 1983. He was admitted as a Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia in 1986 and more recently as a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore in 2006.

He gained his professional grounding and development at Price Waterhouse. He was selected for the Graduate Overseas Training Scheme where he worked in their Melbourne office for two years and completed his professional year examinations to qualify as a Chartered Accountant of Australia. Mr. Kong has about eight years of regional experience with Reuters， a global information company. He was stationed in Hong Kong for several years， to oversee the implementation of financial systems and controls during the company’s foray and expansion into the China market. Prior to joining Vickers Financial Group， Mr. Kong was the Finance Director of UPS Logistics Group， responsible for the Asia Pacific operations. As a member of the senior management team， he contributed to the growth and strategic development of the operation. He helped to set-up the business in Singapore that expanded to eight countries across the Asia Pacific region and generated an annual turnover of US$200 million. Mr. Raymond Kong is the Finance Director of the General Partner and oversees all legal and financial matters with both LPs and portfolio companies. Over the past two years， he has handled every major transaction in the Vickers Meta Fund I， as well as the Group’s investments in United Eagle Airlines and E-Prove.
