Gael de Barmon

Gael de Barmon is the President of Natixis Private Equity Asia Capital （NPEAC）， which he founded in 1999. NPEAC is the operation managing Natixis Group North Asian PE investments. He has more than 16 years of private equity experience， with four years in Europe and 12 in Asia.

Prior to joining Natixis， Gael de Barmon worked in Hong Kong from 1995 to 1999 for The Industrial Bank of Japan （IBJ） where he started the firm’s Asian private equity business （ex-Japan）.

Before transferring to Asia， Gael de Barmon worked in France from 1992 to 1995 for Barclays Private Equity， Barclays Investment Bank’s buy out operation.

He began his career as a Management Consultant for Telesis， a European and US-based strategy consultancy and a spin-off of McKinsey and The Boston Consulting Group.

Gael de Barmon is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris， from ESSEC （leading French business school） and holds a law degree from Paris 2 University.
