Didier Toubia is Senior Advisor of Cukierman & Co Investment House Ltd. He brings an extensive experience in corporate finance, international business development and capital-efficient management with a focus in medical devices. Since 2005, he works at Arbel Medical, a start-up developing a cryotherapy system for minimal invasive Women Health treatments. As co-Founder and CEO, he developed the Company through product R&D, FDA clearance and fund raisings (Israeli and US VC's).
From 2000 to 2005, Didier was co-Founder and VP Business Development of Surgivision, an Israeli medical device company developing an electro-optical system for operating rooms. Prior to Surgivision, he founded and managed Maya Software Technology (COO), achieving first product sales. Since 2002, he is the Founder and Chairman of Biomed Israel, the France-Israel professional network in the fields of Biotechnology and Medical Devices.
Didier holds a M.Sc in Biology and Food Engineering from the University of Bourgogne (France), a Specialized Master in Audit and Consulting from ESCP-EAP (France), and a joint International Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University (USA) and the Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration, Tel Aviv University (Israel).
