Gavin Zhu

Dr. Zhu holds a Ph.D. in Intelligent Systems from Nottingham University， U.K.Prior to co-founding Aerohive， Dr Zhu co-founded a wireless PAN product company， Blootech. During the past 15 years， he led the development of the intelligent network managed systems for optical transport and switching products at Avanex， OptiMight， BrightLink and Nortel Networks as well as engineering position in grid computing at Altair Engineering. Areas of expertise include wireless communications， network management systems in large scale networks， and distributed computing resources management.
